WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us March 29th from 10-4 at The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY for the 2nd Annual Independent Comic Expo. Experience and shop from a diverse group of independent comic creators showcasing their talent and awesome comics. Stop by the Zine Making Station and learn to make your own mini comic you can take home with you. Comics are by everyone, for everyone and most importantly can be for you and by you. You can also join us for a panel towards the end of the day to hear creators talk about making comics.

Seeing no stories about Puerto Ricans in the school he worked at, he self published a book, titled "A Reason to Smile!", starring a little Puerto Rican girl from NYC, showing the positive side of Puerto Ricans in Pop Culture. He's since created 4 books, with a novel on the way, funded on Kickstarter, & has gone on to sell over 4,000 copies! He has since created stories for Puerto Rico Strong (LionForge), Ricanstruction (Somos Arte/DC) & the Harvard Journal.

Robert Christie and Deborah Lang are the co-creators of Crutonia, a land of natural wonders, societies, adventure, and danger. Our books present stories from this world, and are tales for readers of all ages. The work of Crutonia involves long-form graphic novels, short-form comics, illustrated books, and short stories for anthologies. These works include the Quirk’s Quest graphic novels published through First Second Books. The illustrated novel “A Brief Guide to Crutonia: General Guide”, the illustrated short story “The Brief History of Crutonia”, as well as the comics “Where ya going, Ark Ark?”, “Crutonia Shorts I”, “Crutonia Shorts II”, and “Tales from Crutonia” were published through Crutonia Press.
